Welcome to All Saints' Orpington

Join us – you’re welcome.

All Saints Church

As Christians we seek to learn more about God – God as Creator, God in Jesus Christ and God as the Holy Spirit. We hope that within our walls you might not only feel that God is near but also discover more about the gifts he has given you.

We also aim to serve our community and the world in which we live. You are welcome as, together, we try to work out what is means to be a Christian in the world today. We are all pilgrims on a journey – do join us!

Sunday morning at All Saints

In this parish we are responsible for two churches – the Parish Church of All Saints' and The Church of Unity.

Both churches welcome children providing a crèche and a Sunday School (Kingfishers & Heaven at All Saints’ and Sunday Club at Unity) on Sunday mornings.

All Saints’ also has a TOTS group on Thursday mornings at 10.30 am in the church.

Since the days of King Cnut (1014-1035) All Saints’ has been the setting for countless baptisms, weddings and funerals. For a thousand years local people have attended services here and worked to adapt this place of Christian worship to suit their developing needs.

In 1957 what is now known as ‘The Old Church’, a Grade II* listed building, was extended into ‘The New Church’ and a hall and meeting rooms added. The services, according to the tradition of the Church of England, are at 8am, 9.30am and 6.30pm every Sunday, and 10am every Wednesday.

Church of Unity

The Church of Unity is a multi-purpose building built in 1967 providing for worship on Sundays and space for a variety of groups throughout the week. It is a Local Ecumenical Project, the Church of England working with the Methodist Church, working to serve the congregation and community.

A local free church also runs a club for youngsters every Saturday in the Church of Unity. The services are at 11am every Sunday and 10am on the first Wednesday in the month, in the Cabin next to the church.
